Commissioned books and ghosting
I am happy to write to order. More than half my books were commissioned by publishers and packagers for a flat fee or for a reduced royalty. Any topic considered. I live just a few minutes walk from the British Library, which is surely the greatest library in the world. The other great research libraries of London are on my doorstep and I make regular trips to Paris, New York and Washington, D.C., to the research facilities there. I can write in both British English and American English (Chicago or NY Times/Websters). Just make me an offer. Also the publication rights on all the books on my downloads page - some of which have never seen the light in print form - are available.

Journalism
As well as writing books I have written news and features for magazines and newspapers, and articles for partworks. And I am happy to do so again if the price is right. As you can see from my CV, I can write about any topic - with the exception of personal finance. I think I have proved my incompetence in that department. My last outings in the field of journalism were "Interviews With Death Sex Symbols" for Notorious magazine in New York and a series of "Sex Lives…" articles on the three party leaders in the 2001 UK elections for Midweek magazine - I am eager to expand the "Sex Lives…" franchise. Do you want a Sex Life on Yasir Arafat, Slobodan Milosevic, Robert Mugabe or Saddam Hussein, perhaps? My work had appeared both sides of the Atlantic and down under.
